“Hooked On A Feeling” – Blue Swede

This one has had a few lives. BJ Thomas, who Gary met and performed with in Nashville, was just
a splendid fellow with a smile on his face and a magnificent voice and did a version of this a few
years earlier with a great electric sitar solo performed by Reggie Young. Because we are a band
looking for any cheap angle to do a song, we may do a rendition of the BJ Thomas version so that
I’ll have an reason, not an excuse, to bring my electric sitar out on gigs :=)
