“Smoke From A Distant Fire” – Sanford Townshend Band

This is a great tune. We all watched the video performances by the band on Midnight Special.
Listening to the lyrics that are very much dark and gloomy always seemed disconnected with the
happy, snappy bouncy beat. We just like the tune and John and Gary trade some really nice
’70s era harmony lead work.
